Its been more than a year since someone updated this page but I figured
Ms. Spears' new haircut deserved a mention. I dont know if I should
feel sorry for her or laugh. I just dont know why she thought shaving
her head would make her feel better. It certainly wasnt going to get
the paparazzi to stop taking her picture, if anything it gave them new
reason to follow her around. I do think that it looks surprisingly nice
on her considering it seemed an impulse decision. Im most mad that the
saloon that refused to cut her hair is benefitting from the event by
auctioning off her hair. I do hope she gets the help she needs of course.

Christina Aguilera, By Mistress
Its no surprise when Christina gets compared to Britney and Mandy and
a dozen other teeny bopper queens. Theres a key difference here that
has been even more evident with the news of her engagement, she leads
a very private life. Shes been with one guy for two years and we've
never seen pictures of the two of them splattered across the daily rags.
That said Im surprised that this bit of info was leaked to the press
at all. She could have kept the news to herself, and dodged all the
pressures of the media, but I suppose we all understand the urge to
spread the word when we're in love. I wish her nothing but the best.

Im not sure what to make of this girl. She messes up on live tv and
blames her band. Gets boo'd at a stadium. She doesnt seem to have a
lot of experience performing live but her imperfections seem to be precisely
what he fans like about her. Shes just a regular girl and it makes their
dream seem that much more reachable. She should definitely do some touring
and gain experience performing live in front of her own fans before
performing for others again. I do hope she gets better, or gives up,
its gotta be one or the other.

Has anyone seen the awesome way they've been advertising the Jessica
Simpson, Nick Lachey tv series this time around? It goes something like:
So she seems stupid but she had a pop career, has a popstar boyfriend
and a big ass house, she must have brains somewhere. Now I loved that
commercial and im wondering if Jessica approved of it or not. If she
did, good for her for having a sense of humor over her own stupidity.

MTV is reporting that Mariah Carey wants to release an autobiography.
Now I know that girls got some pipes. And I know she had two waves of
popularity, once in the eighties and once in the late nineties but didn't
her movie do pretty poorly? Why would she want to release a book? She
should be looking to SING, its what shes good at. No one cares about
your poetry hun!

I was watching MTV or VH1, I cant remember which, and they had a show
about how pop stars spend their money. Now I had a pretty good idea
about how much cars/houses/jewels all cost. But when they discussed
Christina Aguilera's underwear I was a little bit shocked. The expensive
hairstylists I can deal with. I mean, I pay $100 for my haircut and
love it. But a couple hundred for ONE thong? DAMN. I also saw a little
E! show where they discussed Britney being seen with Jared Leto, while
Justins been dating Cameron Diaz. And in case you dont know, Cameron
and Jared used to be an item. Ya think they just sat down together and
said hey lets swap? Reminds me of a movie I saw last night, One Night
Stand. Dont watch it, ever. Its Wesley Snipes worst movie.

WOW its been a long time since this page was updated. I just read an
interesting piece of MTV.com about Justin's Cry Me A River video. WHAT
A SURPRISE! Its about Britney Spears. Im absolutely shocked.... um no
Im not cuz I told you that when the video came out. Both Mandi Moore
and J-Lo have movies out right now, and they both suck. See Gigli if
you enjoy being tortured. That is all for now.

You know, sometimes Im a little hard on the pop world. I saw The Diary
of Christina Aquilera and I had to say it was funny. And a show with
Carson Daly and her driving people around in a cab that was also amusing.
I think MTV is good at what they do in terms of pop music but they fall
short in many other areas of MUSIC since its a MUSIC televesion station,
they should care more about other forms of music. But considering their
large pop audience which is on average sixteen years old, I would say
their coverage of the war leaves much to be desired. Again, they're
allowed to think the war is wrong and Gideon Yago's Diary from Iraq
was fairly interesting but their reporting is pretty one sided if you
ask me. Knowing their young audience and that they may very well be
the only source of news for some of their viewers, MTV could exercise
a little more responsibility.
Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson both expect to release
albums this summer.
Backstreet puts their new album on hold. Joey Fatone is said to be releasing a comedy lp similar in style to weird Al's parodies.
Mariah Carey shot a video for "Bringin'
on the Heartbreak." "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson
appears in the clip along with Dave Navarro, who plays guitar on the
song, first made famous by Def Leppard. Why is everyone remaking songs???

MTV heard from one of the Matrix's three producers
about Avril Lavigne's writing capabilities. The singer claims she wrote
complicated. Scott Spock claimed it was written for her!
We all thought Michael Jackson would finally slip from the public eye
for a while, what with the pending war and all, but no. The ever needy
attention whore that he is allegedly put a curse on a number of Hollywoods
finest. I also heard one channel report that MJ paid $150G to have cows
killed and was once bathed in sheeps blood as part of a voodoo ritual.
Its amazing the things you hear on Jay Leno. I
caught his opening stand up bit the other day and he was talking about
Britney Spears having a nipple piercing party. Yes that right kids,
nipple piercings are cool. And dont worry, your parents will never notice.
Kevin Richardson's last four performances in Chicago were cancelled
due to the strike.

I briefly caught the end of an interview with Kevin Richardson who was
promoting his run in Broadway's music Chicago. I caught his discussing
that he thought at one time there would only be four members because,
basically, Nick is a pain in the ass. Haha! On a more serious note,
I wonder if the Columbia Shuttle accident will stop Lance from reaching
his dream of going into space.

Not much exciting going on in the land of pop. Justin is enjoying his
solo efforts. Hes also enjoying not being with Britney and playing the
scene. Joey FatOne is bringing lots of little girls to RENT and lots
of mothers worry about the content of the play.

This is old news but incase you missed it the supposed Sept 11th tribute
song from Michael Jackson was not released because the executive producer
had a history in the porn industry and McDonalds pulled out of supporting
the single.
Joe McIntyre of New Kids fame and a few solo hits has landed a role
on Boston Public.
Joey Fatone started his run as Mark in RENT,

I did it again, i disturbed somebody's sleep. Got drenched in some piss.
Wont do it again. haha. Britney allegedly got doused in a bucket of
piss while filming a new video. The people living in the area were annoyed
by her relentless singing. In other Britney news, rumors spread that
she and Justin had broken up when Justin was out partying in LA while
Britney was supposedly seen crying. Britney's publicist quickly corrected
the rumor stating that Britney was crying because she has to spend so
much time away from Justin and misses him. How many people actually
believe that this chick is 20, dating a 21 yr old and is still a virgin?

the superbowl! Tickets to the event are priced at a cool $1,000! Auctions

A bunch of pop stars and some rockers and rappers came together to remake
Marvin Gayes' Whats Going On, all the procedes will go to the United
Way's September 11th Fund. The Contributers include: U2, Britney, Christina,
BSB, NSYNC, Fred Durst, P. Diddy, Gwen Stefani, and more. Madonna is
giving all the money made from her tour from September 11th on to help
with the disaster as well. Micheal Jackson has a song in the works.

The King Of Pop meets the Kings of Pop
Nsync, dressed in what appeared to be a revial of early 90's colored
fashions at the VMA's, performed their first single off of their brand
new cd "Celebrity" on Thursday night. The grand finally came
when a huge
etch-a-sketch with "Kings of Pop" scrawled across the screen
erased off the "s" on "Kings" leaving "King
of Pop." May I just say that : I LOVE ME SOME MICHAEL JACKSON!
Ok it's out of my system now. So you can only imagine how hyped I was
when they drew a silohette of Michael on the etch-a-sketch. The background
lifted and out stepped the King of Pop himself! I was so jazzed! Michael
proceeded to show the members and crowd alike just exactly why he is
the King of Pop. I'm just disappointed that he didn't perform "You
Rock My World". Ahh well, there's always next year.

was nervous recording a song with Justin which he does the back up vocals
for and helped write & produce. She had to mentally kick herself
in the butt and called herself a retard in a silent pep talk. Britney
is also doing another song to show her love for rock! After doing a
cover of Satisfaction that caused quite a stir she plans to cover 'I
Love Rock N Roll' the song that made Joan Jett and the Blackhearts popular
way back in the 80s!

Can't get enough of King of Pop? Well don't worry because Michael is
putting out a new cd that is going to be entitled "Invincible".
I think thats proabably a very appropriate title concidering all he's
been through and wrongfully acused of over the course of his career.
The first single of the much anticipated cd will tentitivly be called
"Rock My World". I hope his new cd is going to be worth the
money. =) Don't let me down Michael!

Let me just start this by saying : I LOVE ME SOME NO DOUBT! Remember
when I said that Gwen had been the only one really doing anything as
of late and that she was collaberation happy? Well, much to my delight
No Doubt is trying to get their new cd out by the fall. They commented
on how they hope to work with Dr. Dre on one of the songs for their
still untitled next cd. Return of Saturn took No Doubt two years to
produce. And there was a five year interval between the Tragic Kingdom
and The Return Of Saturn, so the fact that No Doubt's new cd will be
out later this year means it will be extremely impressive or entremely
disappointing. Let's hope that's impressive. Don't let me down Gwen!

Well, Britney and Christina are being pitted against each other again.
Miss Spears as i am sure everyone has seen is promoting Pepsi, ( Ahh
the Joy of Cola ). Meanwhile, about I would say a week after Britney's
commercial aired, I heard about Christina's Coca Cola commercial. Hmmm
Pepsi's got Spears and Coca Cola's got Aguilera, coincedence that Coca
Cola jumped at the chance to snatch up Christina after viewing Britney

Britney Hit Us One more Time ...
Ok guys here's some new Britney Spears news for you, that some of you
might find rather interesting. Apparently Britneys official website
( www.britneyspears.com ) will soon be requiring that children ask their
parents permission before logging on. It's nothing scandalous I assure
you, the reason in truth is that the website is being updated later
this year and such features, for example a chat room and email service,
are being added and updated on the site, and require parental permission.
Britney has apparently been very busy... not in that way. She just finished
filming ""What Friends Are For" a movie about a couple
of friends on their way to Hollywood who find fame along the way. Her
third CD "Overloaded" is scheduled to hit stores in October
of this year and she is even scheduled to have a televised HBO special.
She becomes more and more Barbie like to me everyday... the house next
door to Ken's ( Justin ), the cars, the money ...
this bitch has it all.

Britney the next Yoko?
Ok, so I'm here at home in New York on Spring Break from college listening
to Z100, a local radio station yesterday. Well apparently Britney Spears,
who has never seemed all too bright in my opinion, apparently advised
her boyfriend Justin Timberlake of NSYNC to pursue a solo career. Hmmmm
remind anyone of Yoko Ono and the Beatles situation? Perhaps he could
put out a solo album in addition to contributing to NSYNC, but personally,
I think if he leaves the band like Britney is suggesting he does, he'd
never make it on his own. Word Of Advice Justin : Keep your day job.

All the best writers can argue their own points and still prove themselves
right or prove their point has merit. My first post in this section
was all about how I think the teen queens of pop don't dress too sexy
and that they are good role models for younger girls. This is still
true. The other day I was watching music videos on TV and I saw the
video of Christina & Ricky. There is just something about a man
in his late twenties groping a nineteen(?) year old girl that just does
not come across well on television. My first point: They were acting.
I know this is the wrong page to talk about Sebastian Bach but it applies.
I would say the age difference between Baz and his costar in J&H
is about the same as the age difference between Christina & Ricky
give or take a year or two. So answer me a question : why does Christina
come out of this video being called a slut and Coleen does not? Does
the stage for the behavior make that much difference? I doubt it but
there is more recognition in theater that what you're watching is a
show and nothing more. Christina was not playing a part but she was.
The thing to realize is Christina and Ricky do not go around groping
each other. They are not an item. Answer me another question: How come
no one watches that video and says "Ricky knows better?" Getting
back to my point, and yes I did have one, she is still a strong role
model for young girls. The young girls though have to realize and differentiate
between the two realities of their favorite stars, the one playing a
part in a video and the one doing the interview on trl.

Jennifer Lopez's new album J.Lo opened at number one on the album charts
knocking the Beatles out of the slot with their album 1. The Wedding
Planner also debuted on top grossing, well, more money then I will ever
see in a life time. Congratulations! Her first single on the album is
hard to get away from and her last movie just came out on video so if
you're a big Lopez buff go knock yourself out, this week's all yours.
Shaggy's album Hotshot hit #2 on the charts. Beyond that I couldn't
careless except to say Dream was on there somewhere with their "incredibly
annoying incredibly catchy oh my god im gonna rip my brains outta my
head if i don't stop hearing that song" song. :)
