THE PENNYROYALS
The PennyRoyals are a kick ass band, if I were
to describe them in terms of bands that already made it big I would
say they are Blink 182 meets Green Day. Hard rock with a sense of humor
and just a tiny tiny hint of a pop-mainstream feel. The songs are fast

1. What are you currently up to?
The*Pennyroyals are writing a new CD and will be going into the recording
studio in early the fall. The band will have the privilege of working
with an amazing producer (who's name we can't reveal just yet) to cut
this brand
new record!! Expect the best music/sound to date, from the best lineup
the band has ever seen!!
2. Your Musical Taste:
What is in your CD player right now? What was the first concert you
ever attended? Who was your biggest influence? (you can answer any or
all)
Jimmy Eat World, The Hives, Midtown, Thursday, and some other great
new CDs not to mention a bunch of old classics as well. Biggest influences
are bands like The Beatles, The Ramones, The Smiths, Jimi Hendrix, The
Beach Boys, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, 311, Led Zepplin, The Doors, Van
Halen, REM, Radio Head, Rancid, OP Ivy, 80's Glam, & lots of Punk
Rock!!
3. What do you like to do when you are alone?
(this can be as interesting or boring as you like. hehe)
Besides what you may typically hear as a response to this question,
we take to time to be with ourselves and create. Whether it is something
as simple as just letting the mind wander, writing some thoughts down
on a piece of paper, or picking an instrument and cranking volumes up
to ear bleeding levels to unleash our inner beasts. All of this makes
for incredible creative output. It is quite satisfying.
4. If you were the first ever "president
God" what would you outlaw and why? (dont have to be PC if you
dont want to- I used this question to give a bio about myself and outlawed
snow)
I would outlaw mean people. There is too much bitterness and negativity
in the world.
5. If you could be anyone other than yourself
- whether they be dead, alive, fictitious, it doesn't matter - who would
you be and why?
I don't know if we would want to be anyone other than ourselves. Spiderman
might be rad though ...
7. Rant. Here at Spouzic we love hearing people
complain and we love free speech so Question 7 is not really a question
but rather an opportunity for you to complain, whine or bitch about
anything on your mind. Go for it!
