The Rangers lost tonight for the second time in a row. It was a disappointing overtime loss due to a penalty I dont think we actually deserved but the bigger problem is the Rangers' inability to hold onto early leads. A win tonight would have meant being back in playoff position and our games at hand are dwindling. We have to win tomorrow to stay in the race for playoff position. In other Ranger news, Shannahan may be back later this week and I hope they dont play him against the hard hitting Flyers where a check could set him back but I do wish to see him back asap. We need his spark and leadership agan.

Feb 24'07
My Shannahan was injured a few games ago, knocked out cold for a good five minutes with a concussion. It was terrifiying. I was there watching the game life and without the commentary and replays, there was just a frightened hush over the audience. Hes been sorely missed in the lineup lately even if Jagr doesnt like him. After Shanny took on Brashear, I have more respect for him than any other player on our team and I sure wish we had gotten him before we had given our captain C to Jagr- because Shanny shows more leadership skills than Jagr could ever hope for.

Season on Ice - John Q.
Super Bowl XXXIX has come and gone. The Patriots did it again, and the annual groans of another football season coming to a close, commence. Now what? For years, fans have had the opportunity to engross themselves in two of the “four major sports,” basketball and hockey. Unfortunately, due to many failed attempts at collective bargaining, the National Hockey League will not be conducting a 2004-05 season.
It was known, for quite a while, that a labor war was inevitable. In 2002, Pat Quinn, coach of the Toronto Maple Leaves, was fined $100,000 for criticizing the labor practices in the hockey league. Quinn bashed teams for spending big bucks at the time during free agency, and even predicted a lockout in 2004. The NHL and the NHLPA (National Hockey League Player’s Association), have been at odds over many key issues. The key focal issue creating this negotiating impasse, which will bring to an end this doomed season, has been that of an institution of a salary cap. The league desperately needs a cap in place to consider themselves financial rivals of the NBA, NFL, or MLB. Gary Bettman, commissioner of the NHL, realizes the necessity of a cap, and has been boisterous in his stand. The commissioner needs not look further than the National Football League to find a working model of how effective a cap could be. Despite having setting limits on club spending, the NFL has shown, consistently, over the years, that a professional league can have both star-quality salaries and league-wide profitable results. The NHLPA has made it clear that they do not support the adopting of a salary cap, but have recently stated that this practice may not be out of discussion. The only problem, the cap they propose is substantially, almost absurdly, higher than the one Bettman and the owners had in mind.
The NHL has always fought the good fight when it’s status as a dominant professional sports league is questioned. Always scrutinized for it’s lapses in ratings, the National Hockey League has always strived toward adapting to the ever-changing market. Their seasonal rival, the National Basketball Association, has always been the sports league receiving the majority of attention. Whether it’s a lack of household names, which is just on account of laziness to learn foreign names, or it’s the general lack of attention span to appreciate a game where less than one hundred points are put up in a night; the NHL just could not draw in the share of the American market as the NBA. This perception of the NHL has been outwardly voiced and known by all who ever turned on a sports news program and have had to wait forever for the hockey scoreboard to find it’s way onto the screen. They were just a less prosperous league, and everyone knew it.
With that said, how could these players be so blind, that they could expect salaries to rival those other fortunate leagues? During a ten-year span, from 1993 through 2003, salaries had risen quicker than could actually be afforded. Players’ salaries accounted for fifty-seven percent of a team’s revenues in 1993, while in ten years, those same players costs took up a hefty seventy-five percent of those incoming revenues. This means that NHL players earn $.75 for every dollar raked in. With these increasing costs, it is hard to allocate enough funding towards the promotion of the league through other channels. In those same ten years, the average player’s salary jumped from $560,000 to $1.79 million, while over that period the average team’s loss went from $1.54 million to an astounding $9.09 million. Even those too hungover to keep up in Business Admin. 101 knows that this is no way to run a business. Spend more money than you’re bringing in?
Sure, we would all love these ridiculous raises to occur during our, reality-based, daily gigs. And of course we would fight tooth and nail if they tried taking that one dollar per hour hike away from us. But let’s face it folks, the NHL isn’t trying to take food off these guys’ plates. They’re simply looking to tighten the purse strings a bit, in a much-needed attempt to strengthen the league as a whole. One would think that the opportunity to live a dream would outweigh the invisible monetary hardships associated with those oh-so-lackluster million-dollar salaries.
The NHL season is due to close on Wednesday, February 16th, through what is to be, undoubtedly, a solemn press conference held by Commissioner Bettman. The season was truly lost when scheduled day one of the 2004-05 campaign came and went, without a zamboni to be driven. To this writer, there is no difference as to how much of the season could have been “saved,” since with a shortened season, no name should be etched on the Cup. Maybe a final hour deal will be struck, and some lame, temporary, agreement allows for a limited number of borderline meaningless games. You would just be stuck reading the same boring article, about the same boring tragedy that will occur this time next year. Take the year off boys! Get it done, but get it done right, so we can get back to supporting the sport we fell in love with.

Jan 25, 05.
SNIFF SNIFF. The hockey season is not happening because the owners want a salary cap and the players want to work it out differently. Not much news on this, theyve sat down to talk a number of times with no results. Some channels have been playing old hockey games or games from the farm teams where they should've been airing hockey. No one wins in this type of situation. I fear if this lasts that there wont be much of a fanbase there when they return, especially in all those expansion cities.

OLD NEWS- '03.

11/25
My parents went to the hockey game on sunday and I AM SO JEALOUS! 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators. Agame in which six different Rangers scored goals and the line of Bobby Holik, Martin Rucinsky and Alex Kovalev combined for nine points. YEAH!

10/22
The home opener was, memorable to say the least. We played Atlanted. The Rangers began by honoring former coaches Roger Neilson and Herb Brooks as well as former player Roman Lyashenko, who all died during the off season. Dan Snyder, who died as a result of careless driving on the part of a Thrasher's teammate was also honored. It's always a little eerie when such a big arena has a moment of silence. Then the National Anthem, and the place went nuts. Followed by, my baby, Mike Richter dropping the ceremonial puck. The place, again, went nuts. Chants of RICHTER, RICHTER went around the building. He looked like he was getting a big choked up. The game itself was pretty exciting considering it ended in a nothing-nothing tie. Atlanta had more shots on goal, but The Rangers seemed to be taking better shots. I don't know how many times I saw Kovalev and Nedved with the puck heading down ice. And my Mike Dunham was the star of the game. He did well, it'll just take a while for me to like the guy whose replaced my baby. Since it took me so long to write this, the Rangers season stands at 1-2-2. And Lindros is hurt, which is fine with me cuz hes a pansy anyway. I'm sure he was busy checking his lipstick when he got hurt, just like Pavel was when he got hurt- but I wasn't watching so I can't swear to it.

10/4
Ill be at the Rangers home opener as always! Its this month, the sixteenth! I cant imagine why theyre not retiring Mikes number opening night. I know they have to do all their opening game ceremonies and all but hes MIKE RICHTER! Heres hoping hes atleast in the building or something. Maybe we won't suck this year!!

9/5
Its official, Mike Richter has announced his retirement.

8/20
Four bits of news. Matthew Barnaby will be in the NYR chatroom on August 26th at 7pm ET. Sounds fun to me. Kasparaitis had arthroscopic surgery and is ok. The Rangers agreed to terms with Anson Carter and my mom is happy.
The four bit of news is kind of funny. During the off season the winning team gets to take the Stanley cup to lots of interesting places. Jiri Bicek wanted to take it to his home country of Slovakia. The problem was, when the Cup Keepers arrived, the cup didnt. Stories circled about the cup being lost but it actually just never made it onto the plane and rest peacefully in Toronto. It was the cups first visit to Slovakia, and it was certainly not without excitement.

7/1
I went to the NY Rangers Draft party at MSG. I had a good time. Not too many surprises. The Penguins took Fluery. Carolina took Staal. The Panthers too Horton. The Rangers got Jessiman which was who they wanted. I met Glenn Anderson. Sam and JD interviewed some of the younger Rangers and they talked about being drafted and their first day playing. I had a good time.

5/23
Well. I should've gone with my gut for New Jersey. Game seven of them versus Ottawa is tonight. Unfortunately, I think Ill be missing it. The Mighty Ducks sweeped their conference finals so I was wrong on them too. Of course I would like to clarify that the fact that I think they're a joke is not a reflection of their players. Its merely a response to the fact that they're a team spawned from a bad movie about kids playing hockey.

4/10
Who to cheer for now? Lets see...
Eastern Conference
#1 Ottawa vs #8 N.Y. Islanders
Ottawa of course! No self respecting Rangers fan would want the Islanders to win!>Ottawa

#2 New Jersey vs #7 Boston >NJ
I believe with all the stuff Brodeur has said about the Rangers if I choose them my mom would hunt me down and hurt me despite the box of chunkies I bought her today. So, while in all likelihood the Devils will win, Ill have to say Boston.

#3 Tampa Bay vs #6 Washington >TB
Tampa, no particular reason.

#4 Philadelphia vs #5 Toronto> Philly
Bleh, I couldnt care less if I tried.

Western Conference

#1 Dallas vs #8 Edmonton >Dallas
Dallas.

#2 Detroit vs #7 Anaheim
Anaheim doesn't deserve a team, theyre such a joke.>Anaheim

#3 Colorado vs #6 Minnesota >Minnesota
Colorado.

#4 Vancouver vs #5 St. Louis >Vancouver
Bleh.

There ya have it, my first round hopes.

---------------------------------------------------

4/5
Theyre entirely out of the playoffs. They were close! All they needed to do was win their last game and have the Islanders lose their last game. But the Rangers lost 2-1. This is a record for the team, six years in a row without even making it to the first round of playoffs. They must be so proud. Ending the show on a sweet note anyway, the team gave the shirts off their backs to a lucky bunch of fans attending the show last night.

March 29
Well, they're not ENTIRELY out of the playoffs, but their lose on wednesday didn't help them much. We pretty much need the Islanders to lose the rest of their games for us to make the playoffs.

March 4
Having played 3-4 more games on average than those around them in the standings, The Rangers are one seat and four points out of the playoffs right now. They've played well the last two games with one win against Florida that ended 5-2 and one tie verses the Islanders. Pavel Bure and Brian Leetch have both been scoring since returning to the ice so YAY for that! Kovalev has made his presence known too, and while hes a little weakling, Im glad hes back!

Feb. 28
News ive neglected to report over the past two months: The Rangers fired their coach. We traded for Kovalev. Brian Leetch and Pavel Bure are both back from injury. Last night we beat the 8th place Boston Bruins 4-1, thankfully, because we really need to kick some ass if we plan to make it into the playoffs at all.

Dec. 15
Pavel Bure will have surgery on both knees today, to repair some damage and determine whether he can play again this season. The poor baby hurt his left knee Dec. 6 when he banged into Buffalo's Curtis Brown while checking his lipstick. The original diagnosis was that Bure tore cartilage and sprained the medial collateral ligament. Whether there was any further injury will be looked into during surgery.

November 13 2002
Hmm, well I never commented on opening night! We didn't win but it was fun! Always is! The Ranger fans weren't as cruel to the new coach as I expected them to be. Actually, in true Ranger tradition, Nedved was met with the most mixed response. Personally I think hes a pansy. Yes, we all know I love my fighters, is it any wonder wrestling is another favorite sport of mine? Back to hockey... I was kind of disappointed, we won our first away game, but not the home opener. As you all probably noticed, Mike Richter DIDNT retire- YAY!! but they were playing him approximately every other game so he can rest and not strain himself until he got injured! :(. My mom still thinks Mark Messier is god. Its a slow year for me in terms of hockey, I usually have a few games I plan on seeing; maybe there will be some tickets in my christmas stocking. As always, Rock On!

September 23 2002
Alright! A new hockey season begins and the NY Rangers win the first preseason game 6-4! My hopes are high! Ive got tickets to the season home opener on october 11th! see ya there!

June 16 2002
As I was writing this Carolina and Detriot were in the middle of game four. I really dislike the Red Wings so I'm hoping Carolina wins.
In other news, the Rangers hired an ex-Islander as coach for next year. That is disgraceful, I am SURE he will be booed throughout the first home game.

AHH!!
My Richter got hurt! He probably wont be resigned. After returning after two major injuries, this one will probably be the one to push him into retirement. God the Rangers team is so fukked up! Lindros and Bure, could they find anyone I hate more? Oh wait, dont let me say that, next we'll have Jagr. Well the good thing is, despite sucking so bad, even though we won the other day, we've had some pretty decent fights. Mckenna and McCarthy are so kickass it isnt even funny. Fluery, a pain in the ass as always. These guys make it worth watching. It always nice to hear the Rangers fans chanting 'Lowe must go!' Yeah, he sucks but hes not as bad as Muckler was and I remember referring to Colin Campbell as 'Clueless' when he was around. Itd be nice if we stopped trading our young talent for a while though.
~Rock On, Mistress

I dont understand!
HOW can a team start off SO well and be in FIRST place and suck SO bad to lose like eight games in a row!! Its pathetic!! We lost to everyone imagineable!! We lost to some shitty expansion team called the blue jackets??? who the fuck are they?? and why do they have a ghetto ripoff of my ranger's nickname??!! ANYWAY! Superskate was fun, expect pictures and a report about it from Miss E. Angel! :)

Crazy Crazy Crazy
Ok so I went to the Ranger's opening home game. Awesome show. Beautiful ceremony for the works and families of the WTC followed by an exciting game. One of a kind jerseys with NEW YORK on the front worn by both NY and Buffalo & were auctioned off on edeals with a starting bid of $500. I also had the pleasure of seeing the terrible excuse for a game the Rangers played yesterday against the Caps. Our rookie goalie shouldve gotten a star though. He really did do well despite the fumbling bafoons in front of him.

The Pre Season
started. I will be attending the first game of the season next weekend. See you there. ~Rock On, Mistress

Lots of News.
Ok, first of all the Rangers signed PJ Stock. Which is good, because hes a great player. Unfortunately we traded for Lindros, a player who will likely suffer a concussion and not be able to play. Luckily we've got him on a deal that pays him depending on how many games he plays but we're losing out on this deal none the less. We traded 3 guys for him. And if he doesnt deliver or knocks himself out all we get is a first round draft pick. The good thing is that the Rangers are being talked about even though its the middle of the freakin summer. The bad news is along with Lindros we get two meddling parents who like to tell the team who can and cant be on his line depending on how much they pass the guy the puck. Give me a fukkin break. Hes a big boy now, get over yourselves. The Rangers werent able to make a single good deal this season. I wonder why. When the Rangers had money they drove up prices now we have GMs trading people to siblings who work for other teams. Yeah, thats kosher. Im not saying theres a conspiracy just that everyone has their own agenda and the Rangers got screwed because they have no friends. The only thing Lindros has got going for him in my opinion is his good looks. Maybe he can flirt with the goaltenders and theyll let him 'score.'
Rock On, Mistress

They got rid of Rich Pilon. And I never mentioned that Kamensky and Taylor are both gone as well. We signed a bunch of people whose names I dont recognize. And theyre basically keeping Richter around to coach the new goalie.
~A depressed and pissed, Mistress

The Rangers
resigned right wing Sandy McCarthy yesterday. Which is cool cuz I like him.
~Rock On, Mistress

I love being right.
Hasek is now a Red Wing. Roenick went to Philly. Sakic, Roy and Blake all stayed in Colorado. The Rangers are trying to get Jagr, someone shoot me now. We dont need another asshole on the Rangers, isnt it bad enough we have Nedved? The Ego Meter just hit the fan! I mean we're trying to make a team that will get into the playoffs so they hire a guy who hates the pressure of the playoffs? That makes sense.
~Rock On, Mistress

Ray Bourque
made it official yesterday. He said goodbye after 22 years in the NHL.
Im glad he got a cup before he retired. He deserved it. The Avs are desperately trying to deal with Sakic before he becomes a free agent Sunday and it looks like Hasek will be going elsewhere.
~Rock On, Mistress

ASSHOLES!!!!
Glen Sather TRADED GRAVES!!! to SAN JOSE!!! He is SUCH A MORON!! And he tried to make it sound like he was doing Graves a favor!! I cant even paraphrase this it made me sick. just click here. -Mistress

June 19th
Okay so with the awards ceremony over and done with all the winners think theyre hot shit and will be in the Olympics automatically. Hasek pretty much sounded like an arrogant prick assuming he was definitely on the same team he was on last year even though the Olympics arent untill January. Though I have to agree with all the trophies Sakic got I would be shocked if he didnt make an Olympic team, hed have to develop some terminal illness or hurt his groin or need surgery or some other horrible thing to miss the Olympics. We still dont know if Bourque will be returning next year. He said if he does and he is asked to partake in the Olympics he will definitely go to a camp to practice if invited.
~Rock On, Mistress

June 17th
Ok so I neglected to mention that the Avs won in Game Seven giving Ray Bourque his first ever Stanely Cup but you probably realized that already! Anyway, it was a great series and if I hear anything earth shattering about trades over the summer I will be sure to post it.
~Rock On, Mistress

June 8th
Yep the series is going well as far as I know its 3-3 and well be seeing a game seven rather soon. I just want to take a minute to throw a question out to all of you.. why the fuck do all the network channels want to ruin the fun of hockey with technology?
~Rock On, Mistress

June 3rd
Lets see. The Avs and Devils are fighting for the cup. The series is 2-2 and um yeah, thats about it.

GO AVS!! The Avs kicked major ass in their series beating the Blues in game 5 in overtime tonight!! Tomorrow is game five of the Devils/Penguins Series, I am hoping to see the Devils blow the Penguins into tiny little bits and eat them for supper.

May 3rd
NJ is leading their series 2-1. <GO DEVILS> The Avs were kicking some major ass last night and won 3-0 making their series 3-1. The Sabres/Penguins series is tied at 2 and the Blues have got their witches brooms ready for a sweep.

April 27th
NJ beat Carolina. Toronto beat Ottawa. NJ play Toronto in the second round. Philly lost to Buffalo. Pitsburgh beat Washington. The Penguins play Buffalo next. Dallas beat Edmonton. The Avs beat Vancouver. St Louis beat San Jose and I have no idea how the LA/Detriot series ended cuz im too lazy to look. Have a nice day.

Just letting everyone know that I hope the Devils win because I think they have a cute goalie! ;)

Ok, so the Ranger's season is over. We didn't make it to the playoff and Graves may have played his last game as a Ranger. Some little kid won the jersey off his back!! In fact the whole team gave their jersey's away. It was fan appreciation day the last home game of the season and it was a nice show even though we lost. We lost our last game of the season too. There is always next year. And maybe I will try to write updates about the other teams through out the playoffs.. we'll see.
Rock On Mistress

April 3rd
Why does it take the end of the year and the inability to make the playoffs for the Rangers to play decently? They have been winning! Which is great but it isn't going to do them much good at this point. Maybe that is exactly why. The pressure is gone. Theyre playing for fun so they're winning more. Im going to the final home game of the season tomorrow. See ya there!!

March 24th
The Rangers went back to sucking. The goaltender ( if my memory serves me correctly) was Guy Herbert. He totally lost the game for everyone... no the rest of the team looked like shit too but the game WAS only 3-0. We coulda came back from that but noooooo. We had to give away some more goals in the next period. Finally the coaching staff put him out of his misery and changed goalies.. who by the way didn't give away any goals. I had fun even though we totally blew major chunks and lost 6-0. Ah well. Todays my birthday, im not going to stress over it.

March 19th
WOW!!! The Rangers came to the game looking to WIN!! and win we did!!! The final score was 6-3 US!!! WHOOOOHHOOOO!!! Not that I think there is any way in hell they will get into the playoffs but seeing a good game is always a good thing. Mark Messier passed some more people in some standing thingy. Oh well I am gonna go celebrate :)

Feb 19th
Alright so on Saturday there was a Ranger game and we won!!!
And today there was a Ranger game and we won but unfortunately MY FAV PLAYER RICHTER GOT HURT!! He tore his acl in his other leg and it might be career ending!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Feb 14th
damn. I think every team in the league has a game today except for the rangers. oh well, there was some good shit on though. After going to dinner with my rents to celebrate valentines day I came home to see the 'Canes and The Red Wings in a 3-3 tie with two minutes left. A Hurricane player crashed into the boards while on all fours and he was alone! HAHA ...5...4...3..2..1..ooooohhhhhh OVERTIME!!! The 'Canes get a penalty for too many men on the ice and of course lose because they have to play 4 on 3 for the next two minutes but what is sad about this game is that the 'Canes were winning 3-0!!! So what did we learn? DONT GET COCKY JUST CUZ YOURE WINNING 3-0!!! THEY CALL IT THE DREADED THREE POINT LEAD FOR A REASON!!!!
After that game they showed clips of the Washington/Vancouver game. The Caps won 4 to 3 in overtime! haha dontcha just love overtime??? OHHH wait I found another game!! Edmonton vs The Ducks. There is 6 minutes left and while I need not pay much attention id like to point out how pathetic it must be to be on a team named after a disney movie. But anyway... back to the game. Anahiem pulls their goaltender and whoops! they score. LeClerc tied the game with a minute and six seconds left. It ended in a tie.
OHHH more clips!! Dallas beat LA 4 to 2. All I caught was that a goal was scored off of someone - as in it hit him in five places.. including his face.. then went in. hahah. Other than that Modano scored by pretending to play baseball and batting the puck in the vicinity of the goaltender and it went in. what a lucky bastard.

hey all!! i went to the rangers/devils game and it was GREAT. it was especially amusing to watch my mom's potty mouth terrify a small child as she yelled for the rangers to shoot pucks at brodeur's face and other such things to the point where my mom will no longer be allowed to go to sunday afternoon hockey games. she of course only wanted such things because the guy was elbowing and taking down all our men and only got called for one of them. the rangers definitely showed some life & despite the end only being a tie, the game was very exciting. I cant wait to go to another game !!!!

Ok so I missed a few updates, I have a real life too you know!! Ok so the Rangers won one before the Allstar break. Whhhhoooooohhoooooooo!!
Its about freakin' time! Then after the break the lost another game but we cant expect too much now can we?? lol
Of course then there was the all star game and North America beat the World 14 to 12. Damn! Was this a shootout or what??? Lets see what I remember. For the World- Sundine scored twice, Forsberg once, Kovalev once and Kariya once. I don't remember who else scored for the World. For North America, Fluery scored the first goal then scored again. Guerin got three goals! Sakic, Amonte and Lemieux each got a goal.
The skills competition, that was the day before, North America won that too. HA!! Lets see from that I remember that Bourke won the accuracy shoot competiton for the 8th time!! Modine had the fastest shot with a 102 mile per hour slapshot! And Burke after an interesting little rapid fire tie breaker won a car for his goaltending skills!!

Jan. 27 Rangers Vs. Islanders
Well yesterday's game was another poor attempt at a win but I guess that's why we lost! Yup we lost to the ISLANDERS! What is wrong with them? We desperately needed to win that game and the Islanders played like they wanted it more. Richter, by far my favorite player, was the only one who seemed to know how desperately we needed to win. Had Richter sucked we would have totally been blown away. It wasn't even as if they're goal tender made a lot of amazing saves either. We hardly tested him. Our power play still sux. I think im going to start cheering for another team.

JAN. 24TH - RANGERS VS HURRICANES
HEY THERE HOCKEY FANS! THE RANGERS, AFTER WINNING THE FIRST GAME OF A HOME AND HOME MATCHUP AGAINST THE CAROLINE HURRICANES, FIVE TO TWO, LOST TODAY THREE TO TWO. THE FIRST PERIOD ENDED WITH THE RANGERS SCORING THE ONLY GOAL. AFTER THAT ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE IN THE SECOND PERIOD AS THE 'CANES (GEE FOR SOME REASON THIS NAME MAKES ME WANT CANDY) EMBARRASSED THE CRAP OUT OF THE RANGERS MAKING THEM LOOK LOST AND CONFUSED MUCH LIKE OUR NEW PRESIDENT DOES WHEN ASKED A SERIOUS QUESTION. GELINAS DID A PARTICULAR GOOD JOB OF MAKING US LOOK LIKE WE DIDN'T BELONG ON THE ICE WHEN HE SCORED THE THE CAROLINAS THIRD GOAL OF THE GAME. AS JD SAID HE COULD HAVE HAD A DRINK AND A SMOKE CONSIDERING HE TOOK HIS SWEET TIME AND STILL SCORED. AS MY MOM WOULD SAY "MY GRANDMOTHER CAN CHECK(SKATE) BETTER THAN THAT!!" PYLON, OUR DEFENSEMAN DID SCORE OUR FIRST GOAL OF THE GAME AND IT WAS ALSO HIS FIRST SINCE 1997! IN THE SECOND PERIOD WALLIER, ONE OF CAROLINA'S DEFENSEMEN ALSO SCORED. WHAT IS IT WITH THESE DEFENSEMEN SCORING??? IT MUST BE CONTAGIOUS. TWENTY-NINE SECONDS AFTER THAT TENABE SCORED A GOAL THAT WENT RIGHT BETWEEN RICHTER'S LEGS. I WANNA ADD THAT IN ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT WE OVER SKATED AND COMPLETELY MISSED AN OPEN NET MIDWAY THROUGH THE SECOND PERIOD. IN THE THIRD PERIOD THERE WAS YET ANOTHER FIRST AS SMYTH SCORED HIS FIRST GOAL AS A RANGER. SADLY THE 'CANES WON AND NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO WASTE MY TIME WATCHING THAT PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HOCKEY GAME, I HAD TO COME ON HERE AND TYPE ABOUT IT FOR A GOOD TWENTY MINUTES. I HOPE YOU'RE GRATEFUL.
